Wisconsin Passes Clean Energy Bill
On March 7, the Assembly unanimously approved SB 459, a WISPIRG-supported bill to commit Wisconsin to a clean energy future. Gov. Doyle signed it into law on March 17.
Out-Of-State Waste Bill Stopped By Committee
On Feb. 15, AB 798, a WISPIRG-backed bill to stop out-of-state waste and increase money for recycling, had a hearing before the Assembly Natural Resources Committee. The committee did not vote to advance the bill.
