WISPIRG Stands Up For Real Cable Competition
Over the summer, AT&T pushed for a so-called “cable competition” bill that would allow them to cherry- pick the most lucrative communities while refusing to provide cable in others. Under the new bill, most consumers would not experience competition and many, particularly in rural communities, would still not have access to enhanced video and broadband technology.
